Senior Field Manager for Telnet, Inc, works with field crews to minimize production time and punch items for current project, AT&T.  Works with customer to ensure proper site builds and minimizing issues during construction.  Gravitec Trainer for the company, established guidelines for proper rescue techniques for the division.  Took charge of safety manager position, performing duties beyond my hired duties.  Set up an equipment standard for all climbers and crew trucks.  Set up new policies: crew rotations, time off request, daily reports, and set up a worksheet for Change Orders that streamlined the process and organized all Change Orders.  Responsible for material ordering and redline drawings for each site under my supervision.

Senior Foreman for Nokia’s Field Service Operations department.  New startup division for Nokia, one of the first hired and recruited.  Received training on the Sprint 2.5 system that included system builds and integration.  Performed Sprint Audits on the first 2.5 systems in Atlanta, setting the standard for the rest of the crews on how Audits should be performed.  Due to lack of work, took job with a different company.

Construction Manager for the Mid-South Region based out of Atlanta GA (one of only two managers).  Ensures sites are built within specs in a timely, safe manner, providing direct feedback to the field crews on a daily basis.  Provides the direct communication to the customer with necessary updates on a daily basis, works with the customer to resolve any issues as they arise.  Responsible for the area’s SCOPs, increasing acceptance and decreasing time spent completing. Responsible for ordering all material for the market, setting up local vendors with local contacts, decreasing cost and wait times.  The go-to guy for the market, understanding all aspects of the project providing the quick response to questions or issues in the field. 

 

C&I Tech/Crew Lead/Top Hand/Tower Climber,

Responsible for installation and commissioning of T-Mobile NSN Modernization equipment in the GA market (LTE).  Installation consists of new Delta cabinet installed at bottom with required grounding and power installation, along with the installation of new system modules, radios, antennas, and all required cabling and testing. Perform the call testing of sites and the integration of new modernization equipment: GSM, PCS, and LTE.  Proficient in troubleshooting, applying a process of elimination method learned and taught in the military.  Leader of up to as many as 8 climbers at any given time and head of Tiger Team operations.  Worked on C-Spire LTE upgrades in MS as a tower tech moving up to Top Hand in 3 months of employment and pushing crews within 4 months.

Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of communication towers throughout the Southeast United States.  Perform tower upgrades along with tower removals for a large clientele with zero injuries or accidents. Installs radios, cell phone repeater systems, antennas, and all of the cabling and grounding for equipment.  Ethernet and coax cable experience on and off towers for various equipment and troubleshooting.

Served as an Instructor for the Signal Support System Specialist (25U), instructing 25 to 85 students on a weekly basis in systems installation, integration, Unit Level Maintenance, and troubleshooting of a Digital Tactical Operations Center (DTOC). Trained over 3,000 soldiers with a 98% passing rate.  Taught a wide variety of communication equipment, which includes the following: PLGR, ANCD, Crew Access Unit (CAU), Enhanced Micro Central Switching Unit (EMCSU), Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2), Blue Force Tracker (BFT), radio operations, Maneuver Control System (MCS), and Tactical Internet Management System (TIMS).  Trained new Instructors on equipment and proper teaching methods.  Integrated tactical scenarios into training, keeping training as realistic as possible.  Responsible for the morale, welfare, discipline, developing, mentoring and caring for a Squad of 32 Soldiers daily; assists the IET Platoon Sergeant with training and the total soldierization process to include coaching, phasing, physical fitness and barracks maintenance.  Served as the Systems Integrations Branch Maintenance NCO.

Selected over peers as the Small Extension Node Section Sergeant for six consecutive months.  In charge of three soldiers and one Non Commissioned Officer in a high paced environment.  Trained the section to provide successful communications on several field problems, resulting in several awards and recognition.  In charge of the maintenance and accountability of the section’s equipment that valued in excess of over 2 million dollars which included: six HMMWV’s, two AN/TRC-48(V)1 HCLOS shelters, two PU-798 generator sets, two PU-797 generator sets, two STT KU trailers, two M101A trailers, and associated equipment.  Coordinated and assisted with the turn in of equipment to DRMO in excess of 1.5 million dollars. 

 

May 2004 - January 2007:               Forced Entry Switch (FES) Operator Maintainer

         Fort Bragg, NC

 

Worked as an operator/maintainer of a FES team.  Cross trained on the SMART-T and TACSAT.  Deployed for 13 months in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, supporting the Al Hillah Regional Embassy.  Maintained vital communications that included: Motorola HF and VHF radios, SATCOM, ASIPS, SIPR, CENTRIXS, and DNVT services.  In charge of gathering intelligence reports, cartography production, movement control, range control, and lead gunner for the logistical convoy team.  Performed over 80 convoys as the lead gunner, resulting in no injuries or loss of life.  Selected over people senior to myself to be in charge of night shift on a regular basis.
